Before you start
- Recommended: create your business's Brand Voice (tone, audience, value proposition, customer pain points) in Marketing. Without it, the AI writes generic copy.
- Content AI works in the Emails, Social Planner, Blogs and Funnels / Websites editors.
Where to find it
Marketing › Emails › (email editor) › AI button › Generate with AI
Step by step
Generate the copy
- Open the editor where you want the copy. In this example, open Marketing › Emails and create or edit an email.
- Click the AI button and choose Generate with AI.
- Make sure Use Brand Voice is on and pick your brand voice from the list. Click Preview Brand Voice to see the details being used.
- Choose the content type (for example, Promotional, Introduction, Testimonial, Cold Outreach).
- In Title, enter the theme (for example, "October promo").
- In Description, explain the goal and main message in 2 or 3 lines.
- Add keywords that should appear.
- If you want, change the tone (for example, Casual or Excited), the number of variations (1 to 5) and the length (small, medium, large or a custom word count).
- Click Generate.
- Pick the variation you like best, review it and adjust it before you send or publish.
Find copy you generated before
- Open Marketing › Content AI.
- Browse the list of AI-generated content and its variations.
- Copy the variation you want to reuse.
Tips
- The more complete your brand voice, the better the copy.
- If you manage several brands, create a brand voice for each one and pick the right one each time.
- Turn off Use Brand Voice if you want neutral copy.
Common problems
- No brand voice shows up to choose from → You haven't created one yet. Create it in Marketing and go back to the editor.
- The copy doesn't sound like my business → Complete your brand voice (tone, audience, value proposition) and write a more detailed description of the goal.
- The copy came out too long → Pick the Small length or set a word count.
- I lost copy I generated → Look in Marketing › Content AI, where the history is kept.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI send the email on its own?
