Updated on

Before you start

  • You need access to Sites in your account.
  • For posts to show on your site, the blog must be connected to a domain and the website or funnel page must include the Blog Post List element.
  • Have your cover image and a short summary (the description) ready.
Where to find it

Sites › Blogs › (open the blog) › New Post

Tips

  • URL slug, category, author, title and description are required to publish.
  • The final address looks like yourdomain.com/b/post-slug.
  • To change only the SEO of a published post, use the post's three-dot menu in the list and choose Change Blog Post SEO Details.

Common problems

  • The post is published but doesn't show on my site → Check the blog has a domain, the website or funnel page has the Blog Post List element, and that page is published.
  • I can't publish → A required field is missing. Fill in slug, category, author, title and description.
  • I want to put a form inside the post → Forms and surveys can't be added inside a blog post at the moment. Add a link or button to a page with the form.
  • Custom values show up as plain text (e.g. {{contact.name}}) → Blog posts don't support custom values. Type the text directly.
