Funnels and websites

How to edit a page in the builder (sections, rows and elements)

Open the page from Sites › Funnels or Websites and click Edit. In the builder, drag elements (text, image, button, form) onto the page, adjust them in the settings panel, then save and publish.

Updated on

Before you start

  • The funnel or website must already exist, with at least one page or step.
  • Know how a page is built: a section is a full-width block; it contains rows; each row is split into columns; and columns hold the elements (text, image, button, video, form…).
Where to find it

Sites › Funnels or Websites › (open the funnel or website) › Edit

Step by step

Open the page in the builder

  1. Open Sites and choose Funnels or Websites.
  2. Open the funnel or website and, on the step or page you want to change, click Edit.

Add content

  1. Click the + button in the top bar to open the side panel and choose Elements.
  2. Drag the element you want (for example Headline, Image or Button) to the spot on the page where it should appear. Guide lines show where it will land.
  3. If you drop it on an empty area, the builder automatically creates the section, row and column around it.
  4. To split a row into more columns, hover over the row and click Add Column.
  5. You can also add a section or a row from the same panel if you'd rather set up the structure first.

Change and arrange

  1. Click any text to type directly on the page.
  2. Click any section, row or element to open its settings in the side panel (colors, sizes, spacing, button link).
  3. To move something, grab the element and drag it to its new spot. To reorder columns, drag a column left or right within the same row.
  4. Use the icons that appear on hover to duplicate or delete a section, row or element.
  5. If you make a mistake, use Undo and Redo in the top bar.

Review and save

  1. Switch between desktop and mobile view at the top of the builder and fix anything that's out of place.
  2. Click Save. Saving creates a new version but doesn't change what visitors see.
  3. Click Preview to test the page.
  4. Click Publish to make your changes live.

Tips

  • After reordering columns, always check mobile view: the order columns stack in can change.
  • To go back to an earlier version, open Versions in the builder. You can publish a version straight from the list without restoring it first; the live version is tagged Live.
  • Give each page a title and description for Google in the page's SEO settings.

Common problems

  • I changed the page but the site still looks the same → You only saved. Click Publish and refresh the site in your browser.
  • The element doesn't stay where I drop it → Drop it on one of the blue guide lines or inside a column. If it goes wrong, use Undo and try again.
  • The page looks misaligned on mobile → Switch to mobile view and adjust or hide the element for that view only, in its settings.
  • I deleted a section by accident → Use Undo right away. If you already closed the builder, open Versions and restore the earlier version.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to add sections and rows by hand?

No. When you drag an element onto the page, the builder creates the structure it needs. You can still add them by hand if you prefer.

How many versions are kept?

Each page keeps up to 30 versions. Beyond that, the oldest ones are deleted, but the live version is always kept.
