- How to create a company and link contacts to itIn Contacts › Companies, click New Company, enter the name and save. Then open each contact's record, choose the company in the Company tab (or under Associations) and save; you can also link several contacts at once.
- How to create and link companies automatically from the contact's business nameIn Settings › Objects › Companies, enable the option to create and associate companies from the contact's business name and save. From then on, whenever a contact is created or updated (including CSV imports with a Business Name column), the company is created or updated and linked to the contact.
- How to import or update companies from a CSV fileTurn on "Company and Custom Object Import" in Settings › Labs. Then, in Contacts › Companies, click Import, choose Companies, upload the CSV, pick create, update or both (with Company ID to avoid duplicates), map the columns and start. Track it under Bulk Actions.
