How to call customers from the number you already have (verified caller ID)
Go to Settings › Phone System › Phone Numbers, click Add Number › Add Verified Caller ID, enter your number and confirm the code you get by phone call. Then choose that number under Calling From in the dialer.

Before you start
- Keep the phone for that number with you: you'll get a call with a code.
- This option is for making calls. You can't receive calls or send texts through that number; for that you need a number purchased or ported into the Elooo System.
- By default, each account can have up to 10 verified caller IDs.
- In some countries (for example India, Malaysia, Finland, Thailand, Taiwan and Greece), domestic calls using a verified caller ID may be blocked. In that case, use a local number for that country.
Where to find it
Settings › Phone System › Phone Numbers › Add Number › Add Verified Caller ID
Step by step
Verify your number
- In the left menu, open Settings and click Phone System.
- Open the Phone Numbers tab.
- Click + Add Number and choose Add Verified Caller ID.
- Enter your number with the country code (for example, +1) and click Verify Number.
- A code appears on screen and you get a call on that phone. Answer and enter the code when prompted.
- The number shows up in the Verified Caller ID tab.
Use the verified number on calls
- If the account has its own numbers, open Phone Numbers, click the three dots (⋮) for the number and choose Edit Configuration.
- Turn on Use your verified number as caller ID for outbound calls, pick the verified number and click Save.
- To call, open the dialer (green phone icon in the top bar) and choose the verified number under Calling From.
- Type the customer's number or pick the contact and click call.
Tips
- Using a verified number isn't the same as porting your number into the Elooo System: the number stays with your carrier.
- If you later want to receive calls and texts in the CRM, buy a number or port yours in.
Common problems
- I don't get the call with the code → Make sure you entered the full number with the country code and that the phone has signal. Temporarily turn off unknown-caller blocking and try again.
- The code is rejected → Enter the code exactly as shown on screen, during the call. If the call ends, request a new verification.
- The verified number doesn't show under "Calling From" → Make sure verification finished (the number is in the Verified Caller ID tab) and that your user is allowed to choose numbers.
- Calls to numbers in the same country don't go through → That country doesn't allow domestic calls with a verified caller ID. Use a local number purchased for that country.
- I already have 10 verified numbers and need more → That's the default limit. Contact Elooo System support to request an increase.
Frequently asked questions
Can customers call back into the CRM on this number?
No. Callbacks go to your carrier, because the number still lives there.
