How to fix error 30007 (SMS filtered by the carrier)

Error 30007 means the carrier blocked your text as unwanted or non-compliant. Fix the message (no public shorteners, no excessive caps or emojis), include your business name and the STOP line, text only people who opted in and, if it persists, gather 3 examples from the last 7 days and send them to support.

Before you start

  • Open the conversation with the failed text and confirm the code is 30007. Other codes have different causes (see the article on undelivered SMS).
  • Have the exact message you sent handy so you can review it.
  • Know that filtering is done by the recipient's carrier, not by Elooo System: the same message can pass on one carrier and be blocked on another.

Step by step

Review the message

  1. Remove any public shortener (bit.ly, tinyurl…). Use your page's full address or a short link on your own domain, with no hidden redirects.
  2. Write plainly: no misspellings, no excessive caps, punctuation or emojis.
  3. Name your business in the message and include the opt-out line ("Reply STOP to unsubscribe"). Don't use creative variants like "reply 2 to unsubscribe": they get blocked.
  4. Make sure the content doesn't fall into a category carriers forbid (for example, payday loans, debt collection, controlled substances).
  1. Text only contacts who explicitly agreed to receive your messages.
  2. For contacts you message regularly, repeat the STOP line at least once every 30 days.
  3. Process opt-out requests daily: numbers that opted out or were deactivated are no longer valid recipients.
  4. Don't spread sends across several numbers to dodge the filter: it's detected and makes things worse.

If you think you're being blocked by mistake

  1. Gather at least 3 contacts from the last 7 days with error 30007.
  2. In Conversations, search each contact by name or number and open the conversation.
  3. Copy the page address (the browser link) of each conversation.
  4. Send the 3 links to Elooo System support for review.

Tips

  • In the United States, any texting requires A2P registration, even for small lists. Without it, filtering is almost certain.
  • Replies to a customer who texted you first (conversational traffic) don't need STOP in every response; the rule is for informational and promotional messages.
  • There's no tool to test whether a message will be filtered; following the rules above is the only way to lower the risk.

Common problems

  • The same message goes through for some and fails for others → Each carrier filters its own way. Fix the content per the rules above so it passes everywhere.
  • The contact went to DND after the error → A text filtered with 30007 can flag the contact automatically. After fixing the message, remove DND on the contact record if they still want to hear from you.
  • Repeated 30007 errors → Left unresolved, the number can be restricted or deactivated. Stop sending, fix everything, then resume.
  • I'm texting another country and it fails → Each country has its own sender and content rules. Check the destination country's requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Is error 30007 an Elooo System problem?

No. The recipient's carrier blocks the message over content, sender identity or missing consent.

Safest to avoid both. Use only links on your own domain and plain text.
