How to save conversation filters as views and share them with your team
In Conversations › Views, click Create View, name it, set your filters (assignee, channel, tag, SLA…) and click Create View. The view sits in the list for one-click access; an admin can share it from the view's menu.

Before you start
- You need access to Conversations.
- Know which filters you want to save: for example "unassigned conversations", "email only" or "tag Urgent".
- To share a view with other users you need to be an account admin.
Where to find it
Conversations › Views › Create View
Step by step
Create the view
- Open Conversations and click Views.
- Click Create View.
- Give it a clear name, for example "Channel – Email" or "Unassigned".
- Add your filters. You can combine several with AND / OR:
- Assigned To, Followers and Mentions (users).
- Last Message Direction: inbound or outbound.
- Last Outbound Message Type: manual or automated.
- Last Message Channel: SMS, email, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, web chat…
- Contact Tags.
- SLA (response time).
- Click Create View. It now appears under Views and opens with one click.
Share, edit or delete (admins)
- Under Views, open the menu of the view you created.
- Choose Share and select the users who should see it.
- From the same menu you can Edit the filters, Delete the view or stop sharing it.
Tips
- In a shared view, use the Logged In User option in the Assigned To, Followers and Mentions filters: every teammate opens the same view and sees only their own conversations.
- Views refresh on their own as conversations change. If one looks stale, reload the page or reopen the view.
- There's no limit on how many views you can create or share.
Common problems
- My view doesn't show up for my teammates → Views are private by default. Ask an admin to share it from the view's menu.
- A coworker and I see different counts in the same view → The view respects each user's permissions. Someone with access to assigned data only sees fewer conversations.
- I can't share the view → Only admins can share. Ask an admin, or send them your filters so they can build the view.
- The view looks out of date → Reload the page, or open another view and come back to this one.
Frequently asked questions
Does sharing a view give access to more conversations?
No. A view is just a set of filters; each user still sees only the conversations they already had access to.
Can I stop sharing a view?
Yes. An admin opens the view's menu and removes the sharing or specific users.
