How to create a multi-step sales funnel
Go to Sites › Funnels, click New Funnel, start from scratch or from a template, name it, and add the steps (opt-in, offer, thank you) in the order visitors should go through them.

Before you start
- You need access to Sites in your account. If you don't see this menu, ask an admin.
- Map out the visitor's path first, for example Opt-in → Offer → Thank you. Each page on that path is a funnel step.
- Use a funnel when you want to guide visitors through a sequence with one goal (capture leads, sell, book). For a company website with a free-form menu, create a website instead.
Where to find it
Sites › Funnels › New Funnel
Step by step
Create the funnel
- In the left menu, open Sites and click the Funnels tab.
- Click New Funnel.
- Choose From Blank to start with an empty page, or pick a template and preview it before using it.
- Enter the funnel name (for example, "Free consultation") and click Create.
- The funnel opens on the Steps tab.
Add the steps
- On the Steps tab, click Add New Step.
- Enter the step name (for example, "Opt-in").
- Enter a short path with no spaces (for example,
free-consult). It's the part of the address that comes after your domain. - Click Create Funnel Step.
- Repeat for the other steps ("Offer", "Thank you"…).
- To change the order, drag the steps in the list. The order sets the visitor's path; the URL paths stay the same.
Build each page
- On the step, click Edit to open the page builder.
- Add sections, rows and elements (text, image, button, form).
- Click Save, then Preview to test it.
- When it's ready, click Publish. If the funnel has no domain yet, you'll be asked to pick one.
Tips
- Give steps clear names ("Opt-in", "Offer", "Thank you") so they're easy to find as the funnel grows.
- You can also add pages without leaving the builder, from the Pages panel with Add New Page.
- On the opt-in page buttons, set the action to go to the next funnel step.
Common problems
- Random numbers show up at the end of the step's URL → That path is already used by another page on the same domain. Open the step settings, enter a unique path and save.
- I reordered the steps and my menu links to the wrong page → Reordering doesn't change paths. Check the menu and button links for each step.
- A window asks for a domain when I publish → The funnel has no domain yet. Pick a domain already connected to your account, or connect one first in Settings › Domains.
- I can't see the Sites menu → Your user doesn't have permission for this module. Ask an account admin to turn it on.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a funnel and a website?
A funnel is a sequence of steps with one goal (capture, sell, book) and supports A/B split testing. A website has multiple pages visitors browse freely through the menu.
Can I reuse a form I already have?
Yes. In the builder, drag the Form element onto the page and pick your existing form from the list.
