How to add the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics to your website or funnel
For every page, open the funnel or website in Sites, go to Settings and paste the code into Head tracking code or Body tracking code. For a single page, open it in the builder, click Tracking Code and paste it into Header or Footer tracking.

Before you start
- Copy the code from the tool that generated it (Meta, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager…). Check where that tool says to paste it: the head or the body.
- Decide where the code should run:
- On every page of the funnel or website (e.g. the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics base code).
- On one page only (e.g. a conversion event on the thank-you page).
- If you use analytics or advertising cookies, consider turning on the site's cookie consent banner.
Where to find it
Sites › Funnels or Websites › (open it) › Settings › Tracking code
Step by step
On every page of the funnel or website
- Open Sites and choose Funnels or Websites.
- Open the funnel or website.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Paste the code into Head tracking code or Body tracking code, as the tool instructs.
- Click Save.
On a single page or step
- Open the funnel or website and click Edit on the page or step you want.
- In the builder, click Tracking Code.
- Paste the code into Header Tracking (head) or Footer Tracking (body), as the tool instructs.
- Click Save and publish the page.
Check that it works
- Open the published page in your browser.
- Do the action you want to track (open the page, submit the form, reach the thank-you page).
- Use the provider's testing tool (for example, Meta's event testing or Google Analytics real-time report) to confirm the visit or event was detected.
Tips
- Base code (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics) belongs in the funnel or website Settings, once. Don't repeat it on every page.
- Events that should fire on one page only (e.g. "Lead" on the thank-you page) go in that page's Tracking Code.
- Google Tag Manager works too: follow Google's own placement instructions.
Common problems
- Visits or conversions are counted twice → The same code is in the funnel/website settings and on the page. Keep it in one place only.
- I can't see the code in the page's "View Page Source" → That's normal: the code is loaded dynamically by the browser. Use your browser's developer tools or the provider's testing tool.
- I copied a page and the tracking disappeared → Page-level code is intentionally not copied with the page. Paste it again on the new page if needed. Code in the funnel/website settings keeps working.
- The pixel isn't detecting anything → Make sure you saved and published the page, and pasted the full code in the spot the tool asks for (head or body).
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to paste Google Analytics on every page?
No. Paste it once in the funnel or website Settings and it runs on every page.
Can I track only the thank-you page?
Yes. Paste the conversion event into that page's Tracking Code in the builder.
