How to connect your social accounts to the Social Planner

In Marketing › Social Planner, click the gear icon, choose Connect Social, pick the network (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google…), sign in to it, authorize the connection and choose the page or profile to use.

Before you start

  • You must be an admin (or have full control) of the page or account you want to connect: Facebook Page, LinkedIn Page, and so on.
  • Instagram must be a Business or Creator account. Personal accounts can't be connected.
  • To use TikTok comment management, the account must be a TikTok Business account.
  • Have the login details for each network ready.

Step by step

Connect a network

  1. In the left menu, open Marketing and click Social Planner.
  2. Click the gear icon (settings) next to the new post button. On your first visit, a setup wizard with a connect option may appear right away.
  3. On the social accounts tab, click + Connect Social.
  4. Choose the network: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Pinterest or another available one.
  5. Sign in to the network with the account that manages the page or profile.
  6. Authorize the connection on each permissions screen. Don't untick any permissions.
  7. Choose the page, profile or account you want to use and click Add.
  8. The account shows as Connected in your social accounts list.

Instagram: choose the connection type

  1. When you pick Instagram, you'll see two options.
  2. Choose Direct Instagram Integration to sign in with Instagram only, no Facebook Page needed. It's the simplest option and supports auto-posting Stories.
  3. Choose Instagram with Facebook if your Business account is linked to a Facebook Page and you also want view-count statistics.
  4. Finish authorizing and select the Instagram account.

Facebook: grant access to all pages

  1. When Facebook asks which Pages to share, select all the Pages on the account.
  2. This doesn't connect every Page to Elooo System: it only makes them available. You then choose which one to use.
  3. If you authorize again later, keep the Pages you already had ticked and add the new ones.

Tips

  • Also connect your Google Business Profile to post updates to your Google Maps listing.
  • You can connect several accounts from the same network, for example your personal LinkedIn profile and your company page.
  • Check your accounts list now and then: any that need attention show a warning.

Common problems

  • A Facebook Page stopped posting (token or permission error) → That Page was left unticked during a later authorization. Reconnect Facebook, select all Pages and check the Page connection in the planner.
  • LinkedIn shows "Reconnect" → LinkedIn authorization expires after about 60 days. Click Reconnect and authorize again.
  • It says "Permissions Missing" → Your account isn't an admin of the page, or you unticked a permission. Make sure you're an admin and connect again, accepting all permissions.
  • My Instagram account doesn't show up → It's a personal account. Switch it to Business or Creator in the Instagram app and connect again.
  • The social network window goes blank or closes → Allow pop-ups for Elooo System in your browser and try in a private window.

Frequently asked questions

Does connecting an account post anything automatically?

No. Only what you schedule in the Social Planner gets posted.
