How to connect your Stripe account to accept payments

In Payments › Integrations, click Connect on the Stripe card, sign in to Stripe and authorize the connection. You can then collect card payments on invoices, payment links and order forms.

Before you start

  • You need a Stripe account (you can create one during setup) and its login details.
  • Stripe must be available in your business's country. Check the Stripe country list.
  • Your user needs permission to manage Payments in Elooo System.
  • Allow pop-ups in your browser: authorization opens in a Stripe window.
Where to find it

Payments › Integrations › Stripe › Connect

Step by step

  1. In the left menu, open Payments and click the Integrations tab.
  2. On the Stripe card, click Connect.
  3. The Stripe window opens. Sign in to your business's Stripe account, or create a new one by following Stripe's instructions.
  4. If you have several Stripe accounts, pick the one that should receive the money.
  5. Authorize the connection and wait for the window to close and bring you back to Elooo System.
  6. Check that the Stripe card shows as connected in Payments › Integrations.

Other ways to reach the same screen

  1. In Settings › Integrations, click Continue on the Stripe card.
  2. Or, in Launchpad, use the option to start collecting payments with Stripe.

Tips

  • To show Apple Pay at checkout, turn on the option on the Stripe card in Payments › Integrations. Google Pay shows automatically where it's supported in the buyer's country.
  • Once Stripe is connected, create your products in Payments › Products to use them on invoices and payment links.
  • Before charging real customers, you can send an invoice in test mode (advanced option when sending the invoice) to see the full flow.

Common problems

  • The Stripe window doesn't open or closes right away → Allow pop-ups for Elooo System, turn off ad blockers and click Connect again.
  • Stripe won't let me create an account for my country → Stripe isn't available in that country yet. Use another payment provider listed in Payments › Integrations.
  • I connected the wrong Stripe account → Disconnect Stripe on its card in Integrations and connect again, choosing the right account in step 4.
  • The customer doesn't see the card payment option → Check that Stripe shows as connected and that the invoice or link wasn't sent in test mode.
