How to set pay-per-lead commissions and custom commissions for one affiliate

To pay per lead, turn on Pay Per Lead in the campaign's Commissions step (form, survey or calendar source) and set the amount. For a commission for just one affiliate, open their profile under Affiliate Manager › Affiliate, click Customize next to the campaign and change the commission.

Before you start

  • The campaign must already exist. Pay-per-lead is only available when the campaign source is a form, survey or calendar.
  • For lead tracking, that form, survey or calendar must be placed as an element on an Elooo System page or funnel (not embedded by code/iframe).
  • To customize an affiliate's commission, they must already be in the campaign.

Step by step

Pay-per-lead commission on a campaign

  1. Open Marketing › Affiliate Manager › Campaigns and click Add (or open the campaign you want to change).
  2. Under Campaign details, choose a form, survey or calendar as the source and link it to the specific item.
  3. In the Commissions step, turn on Pay Per Lead.
  4. Under Per Lead Commission, enter what the affiliate earns for each lead (form submitted, survey completed or appointment booked).
  5. If you use sub-affiliates, open the advanced commission settings and set the amounts for each tier.
  6. Write the description, add affiliates and click Publish.
  7. To keep track, open the affiliate's profile: on the Commissions tab, lead commissions show "Lead Commission" in the product column.

Custom commission for one affiliate

  1. Open Marketing › Affiliate Manager › Affiliate and open the affiliate's profile.
  2. Scroll to Active referral links, find the campaign and click Customize next to it.
  3. In the advanced settings window, confirm you're on the right campaign and open the Commissions tab.
  4. Under Default commission for all products, choose the type and enter this affiliate's value (for example, 50% instead of the campaign's 40%).
  5. If some products should pay differently, choose Customize commission by products, select the products and set each rate.
  6. If the campaign has several tiers, under advanced commission settings adjust this affiliate's rates for each tier (the number of tiers always comes from the campaign).
  7. Review and click Save. To go back to the campaign values, use Restore Default.

Tips

  • Priority order: the affiliate's per-product commission › the affiliate's default commission › the campaign commission.
  • Changing one affiliate's commission doesn't affect other affiliates in the same campaign.
  • A campaign can have up to seven commission tiers; the number of tiers is changed on the campaign, not on the affiliate's profile.

Common problems

  • I don't see the Pay Per Lead option → The campaign source isn't a form, survey or calendar. Create a campaign with one of those sources.
  • The lead arrived but no lead commission was created → The form or calendar is embedded by code/iframe. Place it as an element on an Elooo System page.
  • I changed the affiliate's commission but the calculation didn't change → Make sure you customized the right campaign (an affiliate can be in several) and that you saved. Sales already recorded aren't recalculated.
  • I want more tiers for one affiliate → That can't be done from the profile. Change the number of tiers in the campaign setup.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay per lead and per sale in the same campaign?

It depends on the source. On form, survey or calendar campaigns you can turn on pay-per-lead; per-sale commissions apply to purchases attributed to the affiliate.

Where do I see accumulated commissions?

On the affiliate's profile, Commissions tab, and on the affiliate manager dashboard.
