How to show blog posts on a website page or funnel step

Open the page under Sites › Funnels or Websites, click Edit, then Add Elements, and drag in the Blog Posts element. In its settings, choose the blog, the sort order (recent, by category or by author), the categories and how many posts to show, then publish the page.

Updated on

Before you start

  • You need a blog created under Sites › Blogs with at least one published post. Drafts don't show.
  • If you want to filter by category or author, make sure the posts have that category or author assigned.
  • Have the website page or funnel step where the posts will appear.
Where to find it

Sites › Funnels or Websites › (open the page) › Edit › Add Elements › Blog Posts

Step by step

  1. In the left menu, open Sites and choose Funnels or Websites.
  2. Open the funnel or website, select the step or page and click Edit.
  3. Click Add Elements.
  4. Find Blog Posts and drag the element to the area of the page where you want the list.
  5. Click the element to open its settings and configure:
    • Display Style: how the list looks (cards, grid…).
    • Blog Site: which blog the posts come from, if you have more than one.
    • Sort By: Recent Posts, Recent Posts by Category or Recent Posts by Author.
    • Categories: which ones to include, when sorting by category.
    • Pagination: how many posts to show.
    • Button: the text and colors of the button that opens the post.
  6. Click Save, then Publish.
  7. Open the published page and confirm the posts appear and the button opens the right post.

Tips

  • For a resources or customer-education page, pair an intro text with a list of posts from a single category.
  • On the home page, show just a few posts (for example, 3) sorted by Recent Posts: the list updates itself with every new post.
  • You can use the element on several pages, each with a different category or author.

Common problems

  • The list is empty → There are no published posts on the selected blog, or the filtered category or author has no posts. Publish a post or change the filter.
  • Posts from another blog appear → In the element, change the Blog Site field to the right blog.
  • New posts don't show on the page → The list only shows published posts. Check the post status and, if you changed the element, publish the page again.
  • The button opens a blank page → The blog has no domain connected or the post was unpublished. Check the blog's domain and the post status.
