How to sync Google Calendar with Elooo System
In Settings › Calendars › Connections, click + Add New, choose Google Calendar, sign in with your Google account and accept every permission. Then pick the linked calendar (where bookings go) and your conflict calendars (which block time).

Before you start
- You need a Google account (personal Gmail or Google Workspace).
- The connection is per user: each team member connects their own Google account while logged in as themselves in Elooo System.
- You must grant full calendar access (read and write). Without write access, syncing fails.
Where to find it
Settings › Calendars › Connections › + Add New
Step by step
Connect your Google account
- In the left menu, open Settings and click Calendars.
- At the top, open the Connections tab.
- Click + Add New, then Connect next to Google Calendar.
- Choose the Google account you want to use.
- Authorize the connection and tick every permission requested (calendar, profile and email).
- When done, your email appears in the connected calendars list with the Google icon.
Choose the linked and conflict calendars
- Still in Connections, under Calendar Configuration, click Add next to Linked Calendar.
- Choose the Google calendar where Elooo System bookings should appear and click Save. This calendar also counts as a conflict calendar.
- Under Conflict Calendars, add other Google calendars (for example, your personal one) whose events should block time in Elooo System.
- In the linked calendar's advanced settings, choose the sync type:
- Default sync: Google events come into Elooo System only as blocked time. No contacts are created and no automations run.
- Two-way sync: Google events come in as appointments, create contacts for guests and can trigger automations.
- Save.
Tips
- Only events marked Busy in Google block slots. Events marked Free show up but don't block anything.
- Turn on appointment write-back only on your main work calendar to avoid duplicate events.
- Make sure your Google time zone matches your Elooo System profile.
- If the connection drops, bookings made in the meantime are pushed to Google once you reconnect.
Common problems
- A red banner asks me to reconnect → The authorization expired or was revoked (for example, after changing your Google password). Click Reconnect and authorize again.
- Bookings don't show up in Google → Write access wasn't granted, or write-back is off. Check Settings › Integrations › Google for a missing-permissions warning, click Reconnect and accept every permission.
- My Google calendar isn't in the list → You may have signed in with the wrong Google account. Sign out of all Google accounts in your browser and reconnect with the right one.
- A banner mentions a deleted calendar → Click Fix This, then Remove Deleted Calendars, and pick an active calendar.
- Clients can book times when I have Google events → That Google calendar isn't set as a conflict calendar, or the event is marked Free. Add it to your conflict calendars.
