How to sync your Outlook calendar with Elooo System

In Settings › Calendars › Connections, click + Add New, choose Outlook, sign in with your Microsoft account and accept the permissions. Then pick the linked calendar and your conflict calendars to avoid overlapping bookings.

Updated on

Before you start

  • You need an active Microsoft account. Microsoft 365 (Office 365), Outlook.com, Hotmail and Live.com accounts work.
  • On-premises Exchange servers (not in the cloud) aren't supported.
  • The connection is per user: each person connects their own Outlook while logged in as themselves in Elooo System.
  • Write access is required for bookings to reach Outlook.
Where to find it

Settings › Calendars › Connections › + Add New

Step by step

  1. In the left menu, open Settings and click Calendars.
  2. At the top, open the Connections tab.
  3. Click + Add New, then Connect next to Outlook.
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
  5. Authorize the connection and accept the requested permissions.
  6. Once your email shows in the connected calendars list, go to Calendar Configuration and click Add next to Linked Calendar.
  7. Choose the Outlook calendar where you want to see bookings and click Save.
  8. Under Conflict Calendars, add any other calendars whose events should block time.
  9. Make a test booking and check that it appears in Outlook.

Tips

  • You can connect more than one Outlook account.
  • If you use desktop Outlook, make sure your events are saved to the cloud: local-only events don't reach Elooo System.
  • Event calendars don't work with Outlook (only with Google). Use personal booking, round robin or service calendars.

Common problems

  • I see a "Need admin approval" screen → Your organization requires a Microsoft admin to approve the connection. Ask your IT admin to approve the request in the Microsoft Entra admin center (see Microsoft's documentation), then try again.
  • Bookings don't reach Outlook → Write access is missing or no linked calendar is selected. Reconnect the account accepting every permission and set the linked calendar.
  • A banner mentions a deleted calendar → Click Fix This on the banner, then Remove Deleted Calendars. Then pick an active calendar.
  • Outlook events don't block slots → Make sure the calendar is in your conflict calendars and that the events are marked busy.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I disconnect Outlook?

Elooo System stops receiving your Outlook events, so your availability may no longer be accurate.

Can I use the same Outlook account in more than one Elooo System business?

Yes, the same Outlook account can be connected in several accounts.
