How to connect your iCloud (Apple) calendar to Elooo System
Create an app-specific password at appleid.apple.com (two-factor authentication required). Then, in Calendars › Calendars › Connections, click Add New › iCloud Calendar, enter your Apple ID and that password, and pick the linked calendar and conflict calendars. iCloud only syncs one way.

Before you start
- You need access to the Apple account that owns the iCloud calendar.
- Apple requires two-factor authentication to be on and an app-specific password: your regular Apple account password won't work here.
- For bookings made in the system to appear in iCloud, the calendar must allow write access; to only read events, read access is enough.
Where to find it
Calendars › Calendars › Connections › Add New › iCloud Calendar
Step by step
Create the app-specific password at Apple
- Sign in at appleid.apple.com with your Apple account.
- Under Security, turn on two-factor authentication if it isn't already.
- Under App-Specific Passwords, click Generate Password.
- Give it a label (e.g. "CRM calendar") and click Create.
- Copy the generated password and keep it somewhere safe; you'll use it in the next step.
Connect iCloud in Elooo System
- Open Calendars › Calendars and click Connections.
- Click Add New.
- Choose iCloud Calendar and click Connect.
- Enter your Apple ID (email) and the app-specific password you copied.
- Click Connect.
Pick the linked calendar and conflict calendars
- Once connected, under Calendar Configuration, choose the Linked Calendar: that's where bookings made in the system will appear (needs write access). It automatically becomes a conflict calendar too.
- Under Conflict Calendars, select the iCloud calendars whose events should block your availability. Only events marked Busy block slots.
- Save.
Tips
- Each user connects their own iCloud; you can connect more than one iCloud account.
- If you change your Apple account password, app-specific passwords may be revoked: generate a new one and reconnect.
Common problems
- The connection fails with "incorrect password" → You're using your regular Apple password. Generate an app-specific password at appleid.apple.com and use that one.
- I can't generate the app-specific password → Two-factor authentication isn't on for the Apple account. Turn it on first under Security.
- iCloud events don't create contacts or fire workflows → That's expected: iCloud only supports one-way sync, where events come in as blocked slots.
- An iCloud calendar isn't in the list → Calendars subscribed by URL (e.g. public calendars) can't be connected. Only calendars in the account itself.
- I blocked a slot in the system and it didn't show in iCloud → Blocked slots created in the system aren't pushed to iCloud; only bookings are.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose two-way sync like with Google?
No. iCloud only has default (one-way) sync: iCloud events become blocked slots and system bookings go to the linked calendar.
Will I see bookings on my iPhone and Mac?
Yes, if you pick an iCloud calendar with write permission as the linked calendar.
